TerraLab Ventures is pleased to host the Emektech community as part of an innovative and unique robotic evening, and for the first time in the valley, Dr. Roey Tzezana, a public intellectual and a futures studies researcher and author of the bestseller "The Guide to the Future" and "The Rulers of the Future" will deliver a lecture while he is in the United States, by means of a robotic avatar which will serve as an alternative body!! In the lecture, Dr. Tzezana will review the high level trends in technology that are beginning to affect our lives, and see how individuals and companies are beginning to make use of them.

About Roey Tzezana

Roey Tzezana, PhD, is a public intellectual and a futures studies researcher. He’s a researcher in the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center and Brown University’s Humanity Centered Robotic Initiative, and was the academic manager of the program for Futures Studies at Lahav Executive Education in Recanati Business School at Tel Aviv University. Roey is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of the Jewish Cloud Nation, TeleBuddy, and the Simpolitix project for political forecasting. He’s acting as senior adviser for the Lifeboat Foundation, the World Futures Society and other future-oriented bodies around the world.

Roey is an accomplished author with two best-selling books about the future, the second of which – “Rulers of the Future” – was described by prior Secretary of the Treasury Yair Lapid as “a book that every politician should read”. His next book, on which he’s currently working, deals with the future of the Jewish people.
