We are hiring our first employee(!) and looking for a strong and versatile developer to lead the software side of our product, which includes real-time control over sensors and hardware, data processing and analysis.

The developer will be a key player in the effort of transitioning the device from POC to a commercial, clinically validated product.

This is a challenging endeavor consisting of the development of a medical product where accuracy and performance are critical, integrating real time, low workload monitoring solution into the ICU. Providing a substantial clinical value improving the treatment of critically-ill patients.

We are seeking an electronic/software engineer for a full time position in Yokneam. 


  • University degree in software or electronic engineering, additional degree in Life Sciences - plus.
  • Several years of R&D experience (under ISO13485). 
  • Experience with real-time system programming.
  • Great teamwork and communication skills.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS in all product lifecycle (optional):

  • Product characterization.
  • Embedded.
  • Signal processing.
  • Software design.
  • Integration and control of mechanical components.
  • Design control and product management.
  • Documentation using ISO13485.
  • Lab testing and clinical trials.

This role will be ideal for an experienced hands-on Molecular Diagnostics Product Developer/ Project Manager who drives off exceeding high expectations/ and who has the determination to successfully deliver products.

Job Description and Skills

  • Expert in Molecular Diagnostics with an emphasis on RT-qPCR.
  • Experience in product development and validation.
  • Ability to bring structure and clarity to the development process.
  • Development of specifications, validations, regulatory requirements, etc.
  • Development of SOPs.
  • Statistical analysis and creation of biomarker classifiers.
  • Capable of being the technical voice of the company with investors, medical companies, partners/suppliers, regulatory bodies.
  • Working on potential technology developments and how to phase these into a product development roadmap.
  • Working on Innovative technology.
  • Hands-on laboratory work.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Diagnostics.
  • Proven experience of delivering a Product to the medical marketplace.
  • Experience of taking a product through the Clinical Trials process.
  • Understand/have experience of working with manufacturing/suppliers to deliver a high quality product.
  • Problem solving methodologies and optimize performance.
  • Ability to deliver Projects on time and in budget.
  • Management of IP portfolio.

You will be focusing primarily on large enterprises and governments that are in need of cyber Intelligence technology, and you will report directly to the CEO. Included among the responsibilities of this position is the identification and closing of new opportunities according to our go-to market strategy. To achieve this you must be able to utilize your existing network and knowledge of the intelligence and cybersecurity industry and Sixgill’s broad network and partnerships.
