Visitors at Minimally Invasive Surgery Week 2016 in Boston will be able to get a hands-on demonstration of AutoLap™, the only image-guided robotic laparoscope positioning system by MST Medical Surgery Technologies. MIS Week is a multispecialty conference of a number of MIS Societies, helping increase knowledge of laparoscopic, endoscopic, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
MST will be showcasing the AutoLap™ system, which is rapidly taking its place in the robot-assisted surgical suite worldwide, including a foray into the US market earlier this year.
AutoLap™ interacts with the surgeon’s movements in the surgical cavity, guiding the robotic laparoscope positioner in real time, offering the surgeon full and natural control of the surgical procedure and an optimal field of view.
“Our US market launch in Q1 has proven very successful and we are already supporting utilization in a number of facilities there,” says CEO Motti Frimer. “Our team will be available at MIS Week 2016 to provide hands-on demonstrations with the AutoLap™ system, and recommendations for implementation at new sites that are seeking more affordable robotic solutions for better OR efficiency, visual precision, and surgical experience.”
“Following on our initial and ongoing growth in the European market, the US is obviously a key market for MST and we expect to expand sales activity in Asia later this year,” he adds.
